This program provides high-interest passages appropriate for students reading below grade level. At each level, each of six units focuses on a specific comprehension skill. Within each unit, students have the opportunity to read numerous passages that increase in length from lesson to lesson. Books are nonconsumable—each book can be used over again because students use reproducible answer sheets. The skills covered include identifying the sequence, understanding the main idea, identifying details, using context, drawing conclusions, and making inferences.
