Seeing Stars
Seeing Stars is an integrated reading and spelling program that develops imagery for the letters within words in order to stabilize phonemic awareness, develop sight-word recognition, and improve spelling and reading fluency. The program begins with visualizing individual letters and progresses into multisyllable and contextual reading and spelling.
Visualizing & Verbalizing
Visualizing and Verbalizing improves oral and written language comprehension by developing the connection between language and mental imagery. Students who build this essential imagery-language connection learn to create imaged wholes — imaged gestalts — and also improve vocabulary, expressive language skills, fact recall, and critical thinking.
Talkies
Talkies introduces imagery as a cornerstone of early language development through multisensory stimulation that explicitly integrates imagery, language, and movement. Multisensory steps develop and apply Visualizing and Verbalizing® to oral language comprehension and expression. Talkies is designed for children with delayed language and low vocabulary, including those on the autistic spectrum.
LiPS
The LiPS® Program develops phonemic awareness — the ability to identify individual sounds and their order within words — for competence in reading, spelling, and speech. Weak phonemic awareness can cause problems in decoding and spelling, when students may add, omit, substitute, or reverse sounds and letters within words.
On Cloud Nine
The On Cloud Nine® Math program integrates concept imagery and numeral imagery with language, and applies that processing to math computation and problem solving. The On Cloud Nine® Math program uses manipulatives, imagery, and language to develop the underlying math concepts for reasoning and problem solving with numbers. Beginning with the most basic concepts of counting, adding, and subtracting, the steps progress to word problems, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
