The V/V® See Time Fly books are a timeline of the history of Western Civilization. Volume 1 covers Prehistory to the Middle Ages, with Flights on important inventions (The Wheel), people (Hannibal, Buddha), cultures (Ancient Greece), and events (Magna Carta). The purpose is twofold: (1) to develop concept imagery for language comprehension and critical thinking, and (2) to teach an imaged timeline of history.

Each Flight, or section, provides high-imagery paragraphs and beautiful artwork to help students visualize important events, periods, or people that changed history. The paragraphs are written to support the Visualizing and Verbalizing® program.

Volume One covers early human life to the Middle Ages.

  • Each Flight has five paragraphs.
  • Each paragraph is followed by higher order thinking questions.

The V/V® See Time Fly books are a timeline of the history of Western Civilization. Volume 2 covers the Renaissance, with Flights on important inventions (The Printing Press), people (Michelangelo, Elizabeth I), cultures (The Far East), and events (The Spanish Inquisition). The purpose is twofold: (1) to develop concept imagery for language comprehension and critical thinking, and (2) to teach an imaged timeline of history.

Each Flight, or section, provides high-imagery paragraphs and beautiful artwork to help students visualize important events, periods, or people that changed history. The paragraphs are written to support the Visualizing and Verbalizing® program.
