These recent releases are on their way to becoming V/V classics.
For use with Nanci Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing program for teaching comprehension, the Imagine That! Giant Books are a followup to the Sentence by Sentence Easel Books found in the V/V Kit. The Giant Books provide additional V/V stories and lessons for the steps Sentence by Sentence through Paragraph by Paragraph, and each set includes the new Word-Imagery Index, where full-color illustrations help your students build imagery for new vocabulary.
One Imagine That! Giant Book Set is available per grade, for grades 2–5. Each graded set includes:
- Giant Book 1 — Stories with three to five sentences each, for Sentence by Sentence lessons
- Giant Book 2 — Stories with one to five paragraphs each, for Multiple Sentence, Whole Paragraph, and Paragraph by Paragraph lessons
- Word-Imagery Index — illustrations for vocabulary terms included in all the Imagine That! Giant Books
