NEA Foundation Student Achievement Grants

Amount: $2,000 to $5,000
Due Dates: Feb. 1, June 1, Oct. 15
The NEA Foundation provides grants to improve the academic achievement of students in U.S. public schools and public higher education institutions in any and all subject area. The proposed work should engage the students in critical thinking and problem solving that deepens their knowledge of standards-based subject matter. The work should also improve students' habits of inquiry, self-directed learning, and critical reflection. Grant funds may be used for resource materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, technology, and/or scholars-in-residence.

 
 

McCarthey Dressman Teacher Development Grants

Amount: Up to $10,000
Due Dates: Submit your application from January 15 to April 15
The Teacher Development Grants support small teams of teachers in the formation and implementation of groundbreaking K-12 classroom instruction. The grants provide opportunities for teachers to integrate fresh strategies that encourage critical inquiry and to observe their effects on students.

 
 

NEA Learning and Leadership Grant

Amount: $2,000 to $5,000
Due Dates: Feb 1, June 1, Oct. 15
The NEA Foundation provides grants to support public school teachers, public education support professionals, and/or faculty and staff in public institutions of higher education. Grants to individuals fund participation in high-quality professional development experiences, such as summer institutes or action research.
